Don Giovanni apre la porta e si trova davanti la statua del Commendatore, l’uomo che lui ha ucciso. Lui aveva invitato la statua a cena, e lei si è presentata. La statua chiede insistentemente a Don Giovanni di pentirsi delle sue azioni abiette, ma è tutto inutile: lui risponde sempre di no. Infine non c’è più tempo: Don Giovanni viene inghiottito dalle fiamme dell’inferno.
In questo video YouTube si può vedere una suggestiva scenografia per questa scena, molto ‘dark’; gli interpreti sono Kurt Moll (Commendatore), Samue Ramey (Don Giovanni) e Ferruccio Furlanetto (Leporello).
